What to expect during your hospital placements
Before you start in community GP, you will be required to undertake a hospital training term.
As an RACGP or ACRRM registrar, you can gain valuable experience in a variety of rotations in hospital settings nationally. All hospital-based GP registrars can choose to be part of the GP Project, a WA Department of Health initiative that places GP registrars in hospital rotations that ensure community general practice readiness. Your PTA can provide you with more information about the GP Project.
