Our training doesn't end with registrars

We offer a range of professional development resources for our supervisors and ECT visitors, to assist them in training future general practitioners.

WAGPET delivers and facilitates and range of professional development resources and activities for supervisors.  We recognise that supervisors in Western Australia have a broad range of experiences and needs.  As such, a range of professional development activities and topics are provided each year.  Support is available to all supervisors to assist them in training the next generation of general practitioners, whilst also continuing their professional development as mentors and teachers.  Your regional medical educator is your best initial contact for queries about supports available.  ACRRM, RACGP, GP Supervisors Australia and other organisations also provide a range of activities and events, and these will be promoted from time to time through WAGPET newsletters.

WAGPET encourages all supervisors to join GP Supervisors Australia, for access to useful resources, advocacy and support.  Membership is free, and you can join here.
