Raising autism awareness in WA

How would you rate your autism awareness?

The Autism Association of Western Australia is partnering with the WA Health Sector to develop training packages and resources to increase Autism awareness within the health sector. The ultimate aim of this initiative is to improve access to health care and the health outcomes for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

To ensure the training and resources developed are relevant, the Association want to hear from GPs, hospital staff, regional health workers, Aboriginal health service providers, medical specialists and other allied health professionals and get an understanding of the types of training health professionals need to support their patients on the Autism spectrum.

The Association are running a survey and would love your input. Please feel free to share this information to colleagues and other staff members.

Click here to fill out the survey, please provide as much feedback as possible.

If you would like more information, you can contact the Association on 08 9489 8900, or via email on aristea.k@autism.org.au

Thank you for your support and participation!
