Improvements to GP365
GP365 has introduced a number of updates to the program to improve your experience.
GP365 has introduced a number of updates to the program to improve your experience as a GP registrar, supervisor or practice manager.
Supervisor Direct Observation (SDO)
The paper-based Direct Observation feedback form has been replaced by an online form. Supervisors will record the feedback directly into the online form, and once complete, GP365 will send the registrar a notification that feedback has been submitted. Registrars can then review the supervisor's feedback via the email link or marking list by clicking Review, then Supervisor Direct Observation Feedback on the right-hand panel. Once they have reviewed the feedback, to submit their learning goals, access the Registrar Direct Observation Feedback from the Supervisor Direct Observation tab in the Assessment course. ACRRM registrars will continue to use the ACRRM mini clinical evaluation exercise.
Video Direct Observation
The Video Direct Observation feedback forms have now been replaced with online forms. Patients interested will give consent agreeing to be recorded via reception staff. Following the consult, the supervisor and registrar will meet to review the recordings and complete the online evaluations as with the SDO process above. Registrars will then be required to submit your learning goals.
Multi-Source Feedback (MSF)
The MSF forms for practice staff and registrars have been replaced by online forms.
External Clinical Teaching Visitors
The Registrar Reflection paper-based form has been replaced by an online form. ACRRM registrars will continue to use the ACRRM mini clinical evaluation exercise.
Mid-Term and End-Term Assessments
Following a successful pilot in 2018, all term assessments from 2019 onwards will be using the Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA) format. Supervisor training will be provided in each region over the coming months.
