ACRRM enhancing registrar support services

ACRRM have expanded its mechanisms for educational and personal support for registrars

Managing the pressures of medical practice and fellowship training assessments can be no small feat. ACRRM have taken this on board and have expand its mechanisms for educational and personal support for registrars, seeking to make the training experience as easy to navigate as possible.

ACRRM now offer Access EAP services to all registrars. These provide immediate confidential phone counselling support 24/7 (ph: 1800 818 728), additional resources and practical advice available through the EAP website and DHAS and other specialist providers.

ACRRM have also expanded the number of training officers and medical educators available to registrars and increased the number of hours that medical education staff provide. Additionally, ACRRM have expanded their assessment workshops and preparation assistance opportunities, particularly for registrars identified as needing additional help.
