RACGP women in medicine series breakfast: Social media in general practice

RACGP WA invites you and your female medical colleagues to attend the second event in the ‘Women in medicine’ series.

Following the success of the launch event in March, the RACGP welcome you to join them for another insightful workshop and to connect with peers over a delicious breakfast.

Guest speaker Morag Smith, Senior Solicitor at Avant Mutual, will explore social media in general practice – keeping it professional.

Social media platforms can be a fantastic mechanism to develop your professional presence, share information and network with your colleagues; however, it is important to consider some key factors to ensure you make the most of social media while complying with your legal and professional obligations.

Using real-life examples, Morag covers the key considerations when managing your online profile.

If you would like to register any non-member colleagues, please call the RACGP WA team on 9489 9555 or email wa.events@racgp.org.au.

We look forward to see you at the next ‘Women in medicine’ breakfast.
