Western Trauma Course (WTC) - Albany

The Western Trauma Course (WTC) provides rural and remote health care practitioners with the educatin, re-training and re-skilling to successfully assess, triage and manage acute trauma patients. 

This course will include a combination of:

  • lectures
  • interactive tutorials
  • graphic demonstrations
  • practical hands on skill stations.

Participants will:

  • learn new skills
  • refresh skills not practices for some time
  • gain confidence to deal with trauma patients
  • gain knowledge in how to best organise their departments to recieve trauma patients.

Cost: Medical staff and Non WA Health employee - $550 | Nursing staff, students, ambulance officers - $420
