The Western Trauma Course (WTC) provides rural and remote health care practitioners with the educatin, re-training and re-skilling to successfully assess, triage and manage acute trauma patients.
This course will include a combination of:
- interactive tutorials
- graphic demonstrations
- practical hands on skill stations.
- learn new skills
- refresh skills not practices for some time
- gain confidence to deal with trauma patients
- gain knowledge in how to best organise their departments to recieve trauma patients.
Cost: Medical staff and Non WA Health employee - $550 | Nursing staff, students, ambulance officers - $420
