Rural Emergency Skills Training (REST)

As a rural generalist, you need to be prepared for any emergency, however it presents itself. The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) run a number of emergency courses for doctors, ensuring you have the necessary skills to deal with emergency situations confidently and competently.

With a hands-on approach to learning, the REST course covers not just basic life support, but more advanced techniques to assist with managing life-threatening injuries and multi-trauma events.

Cost: $3,195.00 for ACRRM members or $3,545.00 for non-memebers
Professional Development Program Points: 10 Advanced Life Support (ALS) points, 30 Planned Reflective Professional Development (PRPD) points, MOPS: 2 Surgery, 1 Anaesthetics (Emergency Response Activity), 30 Emergency Medicine PRPD
