This workshop will provide participants with contemporary learning environments designed around guided scenario based activities. The training includes technical and non-technical skills with a focus on team communication and improving emergency anaesthetic skills for clinicians practicing in rural and remote environments.
The training scenarios (based on the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) emergency response activities) include can't intubate/can't oxygenate, management of haemorrhage, management of anaphylaxis and severe behavioural disturbance.
This program will guide participants through the current guidelines, review pharmacological options and considerations, and enable real world practical skills development in a constructive and supportive environment.
