RHW Annual Conference - Rural Pathways for Doctors in Training and Medical Students Workshop

Join as at the Rural Health West Annual Conference Rural Pathways for Doctors in Training and Medical Students Workshop and explore your opportunities for going rural. 

During this workshop you will:

  • have the opportunity to meet experienced medical mentors
  • have access to rural GPs and specialists who live and work in rural WA
  • attend a panel discussion about rural career pathways
  • participate in two hands-on clinical skills stations

Our Clinical Lead Rural Dr Christopher Buck will be on the panel and available at our booth to answer any of your questions about rural training. Dr Buck completed his Rural Generalist fellowship with ACRRM in Queensland. Since fellowing Dr Buck has worked all over rural WA including Broome, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie and is currently a GP anaesthetist in Derby. He also completed parts of his training with the Royal Flying Doctors Service!

Time: 11.30am (registration) to 5.30pm and 5.30pm to 7.00pm for a networking dinner
