AMA WA Seminar - Understanding Contracts

You are invited to a series of four seminars hosted by the AMA (WA) on employment arrangements and managing conflict in the workplace.

The seminars are free for AMA members and $100 per seminar for non-members. You will also have the opportunity to network with peers and exchange information over a glass of wine and some refreshments.

Seminar 2 - Understanding contracts
Tuesday, 17 July 2018 - 6:30 - 8:30pm

The second seminar will deal with contracts of employment and how to spot the difference between a contract of employment versus a contract for services. AMA (WA) will explain the difference in rights and obligations, dangers and risks as between employees and contractors. We will also touch on how the WAGPET requirements compare with other medical practitioner employment conditions in Australia.

ACRRM and RACGP points will be applied for all medical practitioner seminars. All seminars will be held at AMA House, 14 Stirling Highway, Nedlands. Refreshments will be served from 6pm with seminars commencing at 6:30pm.
