2020.1 OSCE Pre-Exam Workshop (Mock OSCE)

This half-day workshop is designed to assist candidates in their final preparation for the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). The two sessions are:

AM
7:45am registration
8:30am - 12:30pm mock exam

PM
12:45pm registration
1:30 - 5:30pm mock exam

The workshop aims to provide candidates with:

  • an opportunity to participate in a ‘mock’ version of the OSCE
  • individual feedback from both the observing and role-playing examiners on their performance
  • discussion with examiners on the marking of their case
  • information on successful clinical exam techniques.

The rotations will be carried out in pairs, providing candidates the opportunity to both partake and to observe cases. The rotation will consist of ten cases, including short, long and two Viva cases, facilitated by experienced WA examiners.
