Applications for ACRRM (final intake) will open on Monday, 9 August at 8am (AWST).

An ACRRM fellowship is designed to expose registrars to a diverse range of health issues to prepare them for the challenges of rural and remote healthcare.

RACGP

Applications for RACGP (final intake) will open on Monday, 30 August at 8am (AWST).

Offering both a general or rural pathway option, the RACGP fellowship is designed to equip doctors with the skills and knowledge they need to practise as a GP in both metropolitan and rural locations.

How to apply for the AGPT program

Apply via ACRRM and/or RACGP websites.

ACRRM applications submit a written suitable assessment, answering five essay style selection criteria

ACRRM and RACGP assess your eligibility for the AGPT.

Eligibility is determined by your citizenship status, medical qualification and medical registration.

RACGP applicants sit CAAKT exam.

The CAAKT exam is a multiple-choice test comprising of medical knowledge based and situational judgement questions. The exam is based at hospital intern knowledge level.

Result processing occurs and WAGPET is notified of eligible candidates to be interviewed.

Eligibile candidates will receive an email from WAGPET prompting them to choose a date and time for their interview.

Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) take place at WAGPET’s Bentley office.

MMIs are a series of six short interview where applicants have two minutes to read a scenario and eight minutes to respond to it face-to-face with an interviewer.

Applicants are offered training places by way of an emailed Letter of Offer, Acceptance of Offer form, Register Declaration and Training Plan.
